Sierra Summit is committed to providing our guests with a quality skiing and riding experience. This commitment requires the constant development and maintenance of our freestyle terrain parks and half pipe. Our park staff is constantly working throughout the season to continue to evolve our parks by maintaining existing features as well as adding new ones for a challenging and rewarding experience for all ability levels.
This season, be sure to check out our half pipe that has been reshaped over the summer months. The half pipe, located between the Middle Tollhouse Park and the Ullmann's Alley Park, is certain to be a focal point this season. Be sure to check our Calendar of Events for information on special park events and competitions at Sierra Summit.
The Middle Tollhouse Park is serviced by Chair 4 and is accessible from all of our chair lifts. This park is most suitable for intermediate to advanced skiers and riders and offers two distinct lines of tables, hips, rails and boxes.
The Ullmann's Alley Park is also serviced by Chair 4 and is accessible from all of our chair lifts. Ullmann's Alley contains a variety of fun boxes and rails and smaller features best suited for those just learning to jump.
The half pipe is located between the Middle Tollhouse Park and the Ullmann's Alley Park and is serviced by Chair 4. The half pipe is 400 feet long and has been reshaped during the summer months. Snowmaking has been added for earlier opening and more consistent grooming. We have also added a 12 foot pipe dragon to our grooming fleet to cut, shape and maintain the half pipe.
The family fun zones are located in sections of Academy, Sundown Ridge and Express. The fun zones have small and mellow jumps, rollers and a few bank turns, perfect for beginners, kids, and those just learning to jump. Family fun zones are highlighted in pink on the trail map and are located in slow sliding areas. Family fun zones are also clearly marked and easily avoidable.
